Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our Methods, Credits & Incentives (MCI) – R&D Tax Credit practice. In this role, you will manage R&D tax credit projects, support client engagements, and provide practical tax solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and deliver R&D tax credit projects
Analyze financial data and prepare tax-related schedules and reports
Research tax regulations and support compliance
Work directly with clients, including site visits when required
Handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Support business development and proposal efforts
Required Qualifications
Active CPA or JD (Attorney license required)
6–10 years of experience in R&D tax credits (or Fixed Assets / Tax Methods)
Minimum 4 years in public accounting or consulting
Experience with tax return mechanics and amendments
Strong understanding of federal and state R&D tax rules
Prior project management experience
Excellent communication and multitasking skills
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s or Ph.D. in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
Additional Information
Travel required based on client needs
