As a Director, you run the show at your camp site. You are a role model and supervisor for Counselors, setting the standard through your words, actions, and leadership. You ensure that Counselors have the tools, support, and guidance needed to lead activities successfully while holding everyone at campincluding yourselfto the highest expectations of excellence. Someone who models professionalism, sets expectations clearly, and leads by example in both words and actions. A Director who can coordinate schedules, manage logistics, and communicate clearly with staff, managers, and families. A leader who empowers Counselors, provides guidance, and ensures they have the tools needed to run safe, engaging activities Someone who can navigate challenges, maintain composure, and uphold Kidventure standards in all situations. A Director willing to step in, perform Counselor duties when needed, and model teamwork across the camp day. Must be at least 18 years old What You'll Do

Organization, Planning, Preparation, and Systems Administer the program curriculum and ensure your site has all the needed supplies Create daily camp schedules and group lists Direct the set-up and clean-up of camp. Ensure job duties are assigned and completed on both the Counselor and Director levels Communication Communicate with parents, staff, leadership team, office, and host facility appropriately, promptly, and effectively Facilitate positive working relationships by collaborating with the camp team Professional Responsibilities, Qualities, and Servant Leadership Manage 3-12 Day Camp Counselors, including mentoring staff, scheduling work shifts, assisting with behavior management, and completing performance evaluations Lead a team of counselors to create the magic of Summer Camp Team and Overall Campsite Qualities Maintain and operate a safe camp environment, including responsibility for up to 50 campers and being knowledgeable about camper allergies, special needs, and other relevant factors.
