Director of Finance
Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on Director of Finance to join our growing leadership team. The Director of Finance will serve as a key business partner supporting financial planning, operational scalability, and data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.
This role requires a leader with:
7+ years of progressive finance experience in high‑growth environments
Prior Big 4 or public accounting background (CPA preferred)
Experience in VC‑backed or PE‑backed companies
Strong expertise in corporate finance and financial planning & analysis
Familiarity with blended hardware + SaaS revenue models
Healthcare, medtech, or healthtech experience preferred
Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Build and maintain robust forecasting models for hardware sales, SaaS ARR, and blended margins
Own KPI dashboards tracking revenue, CAC/LTV, gross margin by segment, and cash burn
Drive unit economics analysis and identify opportunities for operational efficiency
Lead annual budgeting process and maintain rolling forecasts
Accounting & Controls
Support accounting operations including revenue recognition (ASC 606), inventory accounting, and cost accounting across all countries and departments
Ensure GAAP and tax compliance
Contribute to scalable financial systems and internal controls
Support the audit process and coordinate with external auditors
Corporate Finance Support
Assist with financial modeling for fundraising, strategic financing, and scenario planning
Support investor reporting and preparation of board materials
Contribute to valuation analysis and M&A or IPO readiness initiatives
Operations & Cross‑Functional Partnership
Partner with Operations on supply chain, hardware COGS, and inventory planning
Collaborate with Commercial teams on pricing strategy and margin analysis
Support Product and R&D with capital allocation insights
Contribute to finance team development and process improvement initiatives
Risk & Compliance
Support healthcare regulatory financial compliance (as applicable)
Assist with risk management, treasury, and working capital optimization
Help maintain and update Accounting Policies, Processes, Procedures, and Controls
Support Transfer Pricing Masterfile maintenance and accuracy
Ideal Candidate Profile Experience
7+ years in finance roles with increasing responsibility, including 2+ years in a senior finance or director‑level capacity
Experience in VC‑backed or high‑growth technology companies ($20M–$100M+ revenue preferred)
Public accounting or Big 4 background preferred (CPA preferred)
Exposure to blended revenue models (hardware + SaaS)
Healthcare, medtech, or digital health industry experience preferred
Statutory and tax compliance
Core Competencies
Strong FP&A and financial modeling skills
Solid understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, LTV/CAC)
Hardware margin and supply chain financial acumen
Proficiency in financial systems and BI/reporting tools
Clear and effective communicator with cross‑functional stakeholders

Leadership Attributes

Education & Credentials
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
MBA a plus
