Job Duties
Plan, organize, direct and evaluate services of Hospice
Manage the program under the direction of the Governing Body within the established goals, objectives and policies of the organization
Direct, supervise and evaluate hospice personnel and volunteers
Coordinate services of all team members of the interdisciplinary team
Ensure compliance with all rules, regulations, laws, policies and procedures applicable to the program
Qualifications
Licensed physician, licensed registered nurse, a social worker with a Master’s Degree or a college graduate with a Bachelor’s degree.
Three years of documented management experience in health care service
Be familiar with federal, state and accreditation regulations and maintain them in an Agency.
Knowledge of product and service purchasing policies and practices
Knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of contractual terminology
General Computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Must be a highly ethical, self-motivated team player
