Director of Pharmacy
for a hospital opportunity in the Newark, OH area. Oversees pharmacy operations, clinical services, and regulatory compliance within an inpatient setting.
Assignment Details
Start: ASAP
Duration: Direct hire / permanent placement preferred
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts
On-call: Rotating coverage, approximately every 4th weekend
Requirements
Active Ohio Pharmacist License in good standing
Previous Director of Pharmacy or strong pharmacy leadership experience required
Inpatient hospital experience required
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, medication safety, and clinical operations
Responsibilities
Oversee all pharmacy operations and staff
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and hospital policies
Lead clinical and operational pharmacy initiatives
Manage inventory, workflow, and staffing
Collaborate with hospital leadership and interdisciplinary teams
Support accreditation readiness and regulatory standards
