Casino Floor Attendant
Provides friendly, courteous and efficient service to guests on casino floor, and ensures prompt response to all guests needs. Essential Duties And Responsibilities: Interacts with guests in an outgoing and friendly manner. Informs guests of promotions, slot machine selections. Circulates about the slot machine area assigned to provide quick response for change and customer service. Answers change/trouble lights on machines. Maintains an impress bank. Prepares slot payoff requests and tax forms for fills and jackpots, obtaining verification and payment as appropriate. Assist customers with Ticket redemption. Assist with verification/payment of jackpots on slot machines. Makes hopper fills to machines when necessary. Makes minor repairs and adjustments to slot machines including but not limited to minor bill validator repair, minor printer repair, change switches, buttons, and light-bulbs. Cleans interior/exterior of slot machines, slot stands, chairs. Addresses guest's complaints and questions regarding slot machines within his/her authority, or refer to Manager on duty. Stays knowledgeable on all the different slot machine types, and their functions, that are on the casino floor. Occasionally may be expected to perform duties as assigned by the Manager on duty that are not normally part of the designated job description but is required due to business levels and certain unforeseen circumstances. Reports all safety hazards to the Manager on duty. Requirements: Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to three months Key Person experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small group situations or to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers, and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American currency, weight measurement, volume and distance. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
