Activities Event Staff

Cooper High School casual position, $20 - $100 per event depending on assignment flexible schedule (high school game nights) Job Summary: Activities event staff are responsible for providing safe, high-quality customer service to all participants. Under the direction of the Activities Director, event staff are responsible for working a designated assignment to support athletic events. These assignments are scheduled on an as needed basis. Possible Assignments: Varsity Football Boys and Girls Soccer Site Manager Announcer (varsity only) Timekeeper (clock) Scorekeeper (book) Ticket seller/taker Supervisors Chain Gang Wrestling Supervisors Wrestling Announcer V/JV Spotter Timer Boys and Girls Lacrosse Volleyball Site Manager Scorekeeper/Announcer Announcer (varsity only) Timekeeper (clock) Varsity Supervisors Timekeeper (clock) / level JV and B Boys and Girls Basketball Libero Tracker Varsity Site Manager Scorekeeper (book) Varsity Announcer (varsity only) Scorekeeper (book) JV/B/9th Timekeeper (clock) Varsity Varsity line judge Timekeeper (clock) / level JV and B Ticket seller/taker Timekeeper (clock) / level 9th Hockey, Cross Country, and Track Scorekeeper (book) Hockey Supervisors Scorekeeper (book) / level 9th Hockey Site Supervision Shot clock (clock runner) varsity only Cross Country Supervisors Track Workers AHS/CHS vary on meet size Supervisors Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old Ability to work with people for various cultures Demonstrate excellent customer service and problem solving skills Able to report to work in a timely manner Providing effective customer service and dealing tactfully and courteously with the public Effective verbal and written communication Equity is one of District 281 core values and is essential to our goal of putting children first to ensure college and career readiness.
