the job:

the Trade Marketing + Events Intern will support the events & trade shows team by driving operational excellence across event and tradeshow execution. this role will own a key project focused on building and improving the team's event operations playbook, helping standardize processes across vendor management, logistics, and execution.

this internship offers hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of event marketing within the beauty industry, with exposure to cross-functional teams including brand, sales, creative, and operations. the intern will gain practical experience in project ownership, vendor coordination, and large-scale event execution, while contributing meaningful, scalable improvements to the organization.

what you'll do:

lead the development and implementation of an Event Operations Playbook to improve consistency and scalability across activations evaluate current workflows across vendor management, logistics, and event execution to identify inefficiencies build and standardize tools such as RFP templates, vendor comparison frameworks, and logistics trackers support vendor sourcing efforts, including participation in RFP processes and evaluation coordinate timelines, logistics, and cross-functional communication to ensure seamless event execution track budgets, shipments, and travel arrangements for events and tradeshows collaborate with internal stakeholders across Brand, Sales, Creative, Supply Chain, and external partners contribute to the successful execution of events or specific activation components provide recommendations for process improvements and operational efficiencies must haves:

strong organizational skills and attention to detail ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines simultaneously clear written and verbal communication skills proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership of projects comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (basic tracking and organization; formulas a plus) comfort using PowerPoint or Google Slides for presentations experience with Asana and Slack is a plus ability to quickly learn new tools and systems
