Launched in 2024 in partnership with the City of Boston, the Life Sciences Career Alliance connects employers, training providers, and ecosystem partners across Greater Boston to build sustainable systems that strengthen employment outcomes for local talent and support a more inclusive life sciences workforce. The Associate Director, Provider Engagement supports the Career Alliance’s training provider partnerships and community of practice through coordination of engagement activities, events, and communications. Working closely with the Senior Director, this role supports effective execution and follow-through in a multi-stakeholder, startup‑like environment. This is a full-time contracted role through December 31, 2026, inclusive of benefits, with the opportunity for renewal based on funding and program needs. The role reports to the Senior Director, Alliance Lead and is a hybrid position based in the Greater Boston area. Job Responsibilities
Training Provider Partnerships & Operations
Manage day-to-day engagement with Career Alliance training provider partners, including onboarding, communications, and ongoing coordination. Manage provider MOUs, stipends, participation tracking, and related documentation to ensure clarity, consistency, and accountability. Community of Practice (CoP) Operations & Continuous Improvement
Support the planning and execution of in-person and virtual CoP convenings, including logistics, materials, communications, and follow-up. Support evaluation and iteration of the CoP to improve effectiveness and overall project success, including strengthening processes and tools to enable scale. Document and organize CoP learnings to support systems change across the Career Alliance and local ecosystem. Strategic & Operational Collaboration
Partner with Employer Engagement and Talent Support team members to enable alignment across provider, employer, and talent-facing activities. Contribute provider-related content and insights to Career Alliance marketing and communications to support broader messaging and engagement efforts. Job Skills/Requirements
Demonstrated experience leading cross-organizational partnerships or collaborative initiatives. Experience translating goals into processes, tools, and execution over time. Experience working with training providers, education institutions, or mission-driven organizations. Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy while remaining collaborative. Strong facilitation skills paired with a focus on follow-through, with the ability to guide group processes effectively toward outcomes. Strong attention to detail, particularly in coordinating convenings and managing documentation. Ability to adapt execution as conditions change, adjusting processes, tools, and approaches to improve outcomes. Experience working in or alongside startup, pilot, or early-stage initiatives is strongly preferred. Based in the Greater Boston area, with the ability to work at least twice per week in Downtown Boston office. Additional Information
