Russell Tobin & Associates is seeking a Capital Markets Settlement Analyst
We’re hiring a
Capital Markets Settlement Analyst
to support a leading financial services firm. This role sits within Capital Markets, Core Processing & Risk and plays a critical role in supporting trade lifecycle and settlement operations.
Location:
Hybrid (3 days per week in office)
Duration:
12-month contract with strong temp-to-perm conversion opportunity
What You’ll Do:
Manage the
end-to-end trade lifecycle , including trade matching and settlement across asset classes
Support settlement processes across platforms such as
DTC, Fed, and U.S. Treasuries
Act as a liaison between financial advisors, trading desks, operations, and external counterparties
Handle high-volume, time-sensitive transactions and resolve breaks/issues in real time
Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, IT, Risk, Compliance) on process improvements and change initiatives
Contribute to both
“Run the Bank” and “Change the Bank”
programs
Minimum
2+ years of financial services experience
Hands‑on
trade settlement experience (DTC, Fed, U.S. Treasuries required)
Strong understanding of financial markets and investment products
High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Self‑starter with strong ownership mindset
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with Alteryx
Exposure to capital markets operations or brokerage environments
