
Sales, Partnership & Business Development leader for Americas

Lithium-ion batteries have become fundamental to the ongoing energy transition. They're commonly used in vehicles and energy storage systems. Yet, as battery production soars, concerns about safety and performance have grown. These batteries function as dynamic electrochemical and electronic systems, which makes them susceptible to a range of performance and safety challenges.
At PowerUp, our battery data processing solutions are founded over fifteen years of research and development. These solutions enhance reliability in battery management, mitigate usage-related risks such as fire hazards, and extend the lifespan of lithium-ion batteries across varied use cases and operational environments.
From Battery Data to Battery Insight Missions and activities As Partnership and Sales Business Development leader mainly handling key customers and partners in North America, possibly extending to Central and South America, you will lead and drive our commercial growth in these regions:
Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing and account management.
Negotiate relevant partnerships with adjacent software players (APM, optimization, …), service companies or other.
Develop and monitor sales pipelines to ensure order targets are achieved.
Negotiate pricing and commercial conditions with customers and partners.
Ensure proper contractual terms to ensure revenue and profitability targets are achieved.
Collaborate closely with our marketing and customer success teams.
Manage upcoming Sales / business developers joining the team in the region
Represent PowerUp in leading industry and networking events.

Skills :
+5 years in BtoB Software sales for renewable energy (mandatory)
Proven ability to win new logos
A graduate degree in business or engineering sciences, MBA is a plus.
An understanding of battery systems and relevant professional networks to support sales (e.g. on safety, asset management, EV fleet management, utilities).
Proven ability to design and implement successful sales strategies.
Integrity and enthusiasm.
Strong presentation and communication skills including experience in contractual negotiations.
Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot.
Fluency in English and Spanish, proficiency in one or several another language (including French) a plus.
