UI/UX Designer Location
Houston, TX (local required; remote possible per client). Position Overview
The Designer II partners closely with end users and product teams to understand real-world workflows and design intuitive, efficient user experiences. This role focuses on simplifying interactions, reducing clicks, and ensuring systems align with how users actually perform their work. Responsibilities
Conduct user research, workflow analysis, and usability studies to understand user needs and operational pain points. Design user interfaces and process flows that minimize clicks, reduce page transitions, and streamline end‑to‑end workflows. Translate business processes into intuitive user experiences supported by clear wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models. Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to validate designs and support efficient implementation. Maintain design system standards and contribute to design operations practices for consistency and reuse. Qualifications
Experience in UX design, product design, or design operations in enterprise software environments. Strong skills in workflow analysis, user research, and usability testing. Proficiency with modern design tools and prototyping software. Ability to translate complex processes into clean, intuitive, user‑centered experiences.
