Position Title Assistant Director of Impact and Reporting.

Department Donor Relations.

Classification Exempt.

FTE 1.0.

Work Schedule The standard 40‑hour work schedule is Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm; flexible work arrangements can be proposed and are subject to approval by HR and relevant supervisors. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office weekly. Some evening and weekend hours are required for special events and program needs.

Work Location Hybrid. WFH 2 days a week. Will work on campus fully for the first three months.

Salary Range $52,000 – $58,000.

Essential Job Duties

Manage and execute reporting programs and systems for endowed and restricted funds, including student and fund manager surveys, endowment activity reports, student profiles, and other deliverables that highlight the impact of scholarships, internship support, research funding, etc.

Create and deliver endowment activity reports, scholarship profiles, and other impact content.

Partner with staff, departments, center directors, fund managers, academic deans, and department chairs to gather narrative and data.

Engage the student community in sharing impact and thanks.

Track and analyze metrics for department and assessment programs.

Develop, advance, and complete fund and pledge agreements.

Advance agreements between donor and college from draft through setup and approvals in partnership with Accounting, Development, and Advancement Operations and Strategies.

Update and send welcome package to new endowed fund donors.

Execute acknowledgments.

Execute presidential acknowledgment letters to ensure communications to donors are personal, impactful, timely, and inspiring.

Monitor gift fund use and alignment with donor intent.

Manage donor and giving data.

Manage endowed fund data, including donor contacts and scholarship recipients.

Maintain and update donor records.

Assist and implement stewardship and Advancement events.

Support, respect, and commit to embracing diverse backgrounds, values, and points of view to build a strong and inclusive community.

Complete and meet deadlines for required training and performance management cycle 8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervision

Reports to the Director of Donor Relations and Communications.

This position does not supervise anyone.

Required Qualifications

Education: Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree; maintain a valid driver’s license and meet St. Olaf College driver authorization criteria with a satisfactory driving record.

Experience: 3+ years of related experience in communications, grants, reporting, project management, research, stewardship, or related fields; experience with donor relations or customer relationship management and fundraising software programs, data manipulation, spreadsheet management, writing, and collaboration skills.

Employment in this position is conditioned upon successful completion of a background check including criminal background checks, reference checks, verification of work history, verification of academic credentials, licenses, certifications, motor vehicle check, DOT certification, credit check, employment eligibility verification, and/or a pre‑employment physical.
