
Nonprofit Financial Director

Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a respected nonprofit organization to hire a Director of Finance & Administration. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing finance, operations, and HR administration within a mission-driven environment.
We are seeking a hands-on finance leader who can manage day-to-day accounting while also serving as a strategic partner to executive leadership and the Board. This individual will ensure strong financial systems, clear reporting, sound compliance practices, and operational stability to support continued organizational growth.
Full-Time | Exempt | In-Office ( hybrid flexibility)
What You’ll Do:
Lead all accounting operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Manage monthly close, audit coordination, and tax filings
Provide financial modeling and strategic analysis for leadership decision-making
Oversee cash flow, internal controls, and compliance
Support business operations, vendor management, and risk oversight
Manage HR administration including payroll, benefits, onboarding, and policy compliance
Translate financial data into clear, accessible insights for non-financial stakeholders
What We’re Looking For:
8+ years of progressive nonprofit finance experience
Strong knowledge of fund accounting, GAAP, audits, and regulatory compliance
Experience partnering with executive leadership and boards
Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategy and execution
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
