Job Description Become part of the Chief Business Office for European Securities and Settlement, taking on a high-impact role similar to that of a chief of staff.
You will run the governance engine, coordinate cross‑functional delivery, and produce decision‑ready content for senior forums (ExCo/Board) in line with Euroclear’s governance standards.
What you’ll do
Governance excellence:
Own the end‑to‑end preparation of ExCo/Board papers, decision memos and CEO/Group presentations; ensure outputs are clear, concise and actionable.
Business analysis & judgment:
Apply strong business acumen to connect markets, clients, products and competition; frame choices, quantify impacts and recommend the way forward.
Cross‑functional coordination:
Drive follow‑through across product, strategy, marketing, commercial and operations; track priorities and risks and keep deliverables moving.
Strategic transformation:
Contribute analysis and materials for market‑modernisation initiatives, including tokenization/DLT programs such as
Pythagore .
Who you are (mindset & working style)
We’re looking for someone who combines
strong analytical capability with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset :
7± years
in strategy/governance or cross‑functional execution, with demonstrable
business acumen
and senior‑stakeholder exposure.
Financial‑markets experience
strongly preferred (e.g., securities services/CSDs, market infrastructure, investment banking, or consulting focused on capital markets).
Exceptional writing and presentation skills; ability to produce concise,
consulting‑grade
narratives and slides that stand on their own.
Fluency in
French, Dutch and English , with the ability to craft executive‑level content in all three.
Self‑starter
who takes ownership, anticipates needs and drives topics without waiting for instruction.
Entrepreneurial and resourceful , comfortable operating in ambiguity and creating structure where needed.
Analytical problem‑solver
able to break down complex issues and synthesise insights clearly.
Excellent command of PowerPoint, Excel and Word , able to produce polished materials at speed.
Fluent Copilot/AI user , leveraging digital tools naturally to accelerate output and enhance quality.
Strong interest in AI, digital transformation and how technology reshapes market infrastructures.
Client‑centric by default , ensuring every deliverable aligns with internal stakeholders and ultimately has a positive impact on our end clients
