About this role
Seeking a talented Sales Associate who will play a critical role in driving the growth of SpiderRock Advisors (SRA) by managing the internal sales process for new and existing clients utilizing our suite of investment overlay strategies. This individual will collaborate closely with External Sales, Portfolio Management, Operations, Compliance teams, and partner custodians to ensure transparency and minimize time to market, while also engaging advisors to promote and support the adoption of SRA’s option overlay solutions across wealth management channels. Combining consultative sales, relationship management, and technical fluency in options strategies, the candidate will deliver best‑in‑class risk management solutions for advisors and their clients.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert on SRA’s option overlay strategies, risk management, and portfolio enhancement techniques.
Drive adoption of SpiderRock’s option overlay strategies among financial advisors and their end clients.
Create proposals to present potential SRA solutions to both existing and prospective clients.
Provide ongoing support to advisors, addressing technical questions and facilitating portfolio reviews.
Partner with BlackRock US Wealth Advisory teams to align sales efforts with broader strategic objectives.
Deliver presentations, webinars, and training sessions to educate advisors on SpiderRock’s solutions and value proposition.
Develop and execute engagement campaigns, lead generation initiatives, and pipeline management to meet revenue targets.
Collaborate with SpiderRock service, onboarding, and implementation teams to ensure seamless onboarding and account setup.
Provide feedback from the sales field to inform product development and communication strategies.
Work closely with marketing, compliance, and investment teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of sales materials.
Exhibit ownership, assessment, escalation, and resolution of risk issues in a timely manner.
Key Qualifications
3+ years of experience.
BA/BS degree required.
Active or transferable SIE, Series 7 and 66, or 63/65 licenses within first 3‑6 months of employment.
Knowledge of financial services and/or experience in Wealth/Asset Management.
Proven track record of consultative sales and relationship management.
Strong client focus and ability to partner with various internal groups and client coverage.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Creative problem‑solving and solid judgment/decision‑making.
Attention to detail with strong time‑management and organizational skill.
Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
Experience with structured products, structured notes, or other OTC derivatives is a plus.
Compensation Base salary range: $90,000–$127,500. Employees are also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and a full suite of benefits including healthcare, leave, and retirement benefits.
