Interior Designer

Ronen Lev, New York, NY, United States

Ronen Lev is seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer to join our New York studio.

We are looking for a designer with a refined, intuitive aesthetic and a strong foundation in residential interiors. The ideal candidate has experience at a high-end interior design firm and is eager to take on a more hands‑on, high‑responsibility role within a small, design‑driven practice.

This role is suited to someone highly motivated and detail‑oriented, who is comfortable working with autonomy, taking initiative, and contributing meaningfully across all phases of a project. The position requires a New York–based candidate who is able to travel to project sites in the Hamptons and other locations, attend client meetings, and step into a project management role as needed. Our studio integrates interior design and architecture, so a strong understanding of interior architecture is essential.

Ronen Lev is a boutique design practice with a strong architectural foundation. Our work focuses on creating warm, timeless, and deeply personal spaces. We are a small, highly collaborative studio located between the West Village and Meatpacking District. We offer flexibility with remote work and a lighter summer schedule.

Role & Responsibilities You will be involved in all aspects of project development from concept through installation, working closely with the entire team. This role offers significant exposure to both the creative and technical sides of the practice.

Responsibilities include

Producing floor plans and interior elevations in line with Ronen Lev drawing standards

Developing drawing sets across all phases (SD through CD and installation)

Preparing detailed millwork and custom furniture drawings

Creating presentations including materials, plans, renderings, and sketches

Managing project budgets and timelines on a daily basis

Coordinating with clients, consultants, and vendors

Managing multiple projects simultaneously across all phases

Attending site visits and client meetings

Managing procurement workflows and tracking in DesignFiles

Qualifications

Experience with Rhino, 3ds Max, V‑Ray, or similar 3D software is a plus

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to travel for project work
