Job Title: HR Representative - Accounts Payable Support
The HR Representative - Accounts Payable Support provides essential human resources support specifically aligned with Accounts Payable operations. This role acts as a primary point of contact for employee and manager inquiries related to AP workforce support, maintaining accurate HR and payroll-related records, and partnering closely with HR, Payroll, and Finance teams to ensure timely resolution of employee issues impacting compensation, time, and payments.
Responsibilities
Serve as the HR point of contact for Accounts Payable staff and leadership.
Support employee inquiries related to payroll, time reporting, deductions, onboarding, offboarding, and HR transactions impacting AP.
Partner with Payroll and Accounts Payable to resolve issues related to pay discrepancies, reimbursements, and employee records.
Assist with onboarding, job changes, and terminations for AP staff to ensure timely system updates.
Maintain and audit HR records and documentation related to the AP workforce population.
Support data integrity between HR systems, Payroll, and Finance systems.
Assist with employee escalations routed through HR Shared Services or Employee Service Center.
Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and standard practices as they relate to AP employees.
Support compliance activities, audits, and reporting requests involving AP personnel.
Participate in continuous process improvement efforts between HR and Finance teams.
Essential Skills
At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, or Shared Services.
Experience supporting transactional teams such as AP, Finance, Payroll, or Shared Services is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in data entry and administrative support.
Human resource management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with HR systems.
Work Environment The work environment includes regular interaction with HR, Payroll, and Finance teams. It involves maintaining data integrity across multiple systems and ensuring compliance with HR policies. The role requires strong multitasking abilities and a focus on continuous process improvement.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Boston, MA.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
