Job Description Job Description Entry Writer – Customs Brokerage Location: San Pedro, CA Pay: $28–$30/hr Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite We’re hiring an experienced Entry Writer to support a fast-paced Customs Brokerage team in San Pedro, CA. This role is critical in ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant import processing across a variety of shipments. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and transmit import entries (CBP Form 7501) through ACE/ABI Process FTZ admissions (CBP Form 214) and bonded warehouse entries Classify goods using HTS and calculate duties, taxes, and ADD/CVD Review commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents for accuracy Handle CBP holds, exams, and post-entry corrections/amendments Communicate with clients, carriers, and government agencies to resolve issues Ensure compliance with CBP regulations and meet all filing deadlines Qualifications: 2 years of recent Entry Writer or Customs Brokerage experience Strong working knowledge of HTS classification and CBP regulations Hands-on experience with FTZ (Form 214) and bonded warehouse entries Proficiency in ACE/ABI systems Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills Preferred: Experience with drawback and/or TIB entries Exposure to bonded warehouse operations Customs Broker License (or actively pursuing) This is a great opportunity to join a stable, high-volume brokerage environment with room for growth.
