Director of Planning, Zoning & Economic Development
The City of Northwood is accepting applications for the position of Director of Planning, Zoning & Economic Development. The Director works under the general direction of the City Administrator.
Responsibilities
Meet with land developers, architects, and engineers, and review land use plans, specifications, and proposals.
Issue orders and notices, and enforce them to ensure compliance with the City zoning code.
Conduct public meetings to inform the public of land use and zoning codes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, Economic Development, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Training and/or experience that demonstrates thorough knowledge of land use planning, zoning codes, and economic development practices.
Salary $90K-$100K annually, with excellent benefits.
