Qualifications Outgoing, proactive personality with strong goal‑driven motivation
Knowledge of current agricultural practices
Ability to lift 40 lbs and sit, stand, or squat for extended periods
Ability to safely operate, hook up, secure, and transport equipment
Willingness and ability to mentor less‑experienced candidates
Strong communication skills with ability to build customer relationships
Proficiency with computerized tools and reports
Strong math skills
Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends
Preferred Criteria Bachelor's degree in business or an agriculture‑related field
3+ years of account management or direct sales experience in ag equipment or a related field
Average Day as a Production Ag Account Manager In this role, you will:
Support customers in making informed decisions with tailored ag‑equipment solutions
Leverage your knowledge of John Deere and competitive equipment to guide purchases
Appraise trade‑ins and lead equipment demonstrations
Oversee product delivery and operator training
Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships
Research industry trends and monitor competitors
Stay current on incentive programs and financing options
Develop innovative solutions that streamline processes and cultivate sales growth
