Job Description: Mechanical Design Engineer
Join a dynamic team as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where you will have the opportunity to design components such as strainers, spray balls, and baskets. You may also assist with designing components of the full cleaning system. Utilize your expertise in 2D and 3D design using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Responsibilities
Design various mechanical components including strainers, spray balls, and baskets.
Assist in designing components of the full cleaning system.
Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD for 2D and 3D design work.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure design accuracy and efficiency.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for mechanical design.
Experience in mechanical drafting and machine design.
Strong understanding of material properties and sheet metal design.
3D modeling skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate's degree in Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.
At least 2 years of experience as a mechanical designer.
Experience in designing small components.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $41.00/hr.
