
Manager, Development and Alumni Relations - School of Medicine

The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking applications for a Manager, Development and Alumni Relations within the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. This position plays a key role in advancing the School of Medicine’s fundraising and alumni engagement efforts. The Manager is responsible for managing a comprehensive portfolio of donors and prospects, executing annual and special giving campaigns, strengthening donor relationships, and supporting alumni engagement initiatives. This role works collaboratively with partners across the university, including University Advancement and the School of Medicine’s Marketing, Communications, and Events teams, to support and implement fundraising strategies and alumni programs.
Key responsibilities include leading fundraising campaigns, identifying and cultivating prospective donors, managing donor outreach and stewardship activities, coordinating alumni engagement events, and utilizing CRM systems to track and analyze engagement trends. The Manager will help build and maintain a strong donor pipeline, support consistent philanthropic support, and strengthen relationships between the School of Medicine, its alumni, and supporters.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and three (3) years of related work experience OR Master’s Degree and two (2) years of related work experience
Related Experience:
Fundraising or similar experience
Schedule or Travel Requirements Frequent local travel
Occasional out of state travel
Variable work schedule to include nights and weekends
Compensation Grade Administrative Faculty – B (Salary Range: $59,675 - $75,000)
