Compensation
$20–$30/hour starting rate, based on experience (with opportunity for future increases).
Overtime available.
Typical first-year earnings: $46,000–$67,000 annually.
With higher overtime, total earnings may exceed $75,000/year.
Location Moeller Precision Tool is centrally located in Tennessee, just a 15-minute drive from Nashville, offering easy access to I-24, plenty of local restaurants, and many nearby apartments.
Job Summary Moeller Precision Tool is seeking a Manufacturing Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this specialized role, you’ll work closely with our manufacturing, customer service, and engineering departments to provide accurate quotes and technical support, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers from inquiry to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Preparing quotes for special details and altered standards.
Collaborate with engineering to evaluate feasibility of custom designs.
Re-evaluating and quoting repeat jobs based on historical cost data.
Assisting with technical questions on both standard and custom products.
Translating competitor specifications into Moeller equivalents for quoting.
Participate in continuous improvement projects related to quoting accuracy and speed.
Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring a clean, organized workspace.
Requirements (Must-Haves)
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Mechanically inclined - We will train the right mechanically‑inclined candidate—even if they don’t have formal estimating experience.
Strong communication and computer skills.
A collaborative mindset and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)
Previous office experience.
Solid understanding of machining processes and practices.
Previous experience with CAD.
Previous experience with precision measuring equipment.
Schedule
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with overtime option available frequently.
