Technical Service Rep
in our Charlotte, NC facility.
You will partner closely with customers, service technicians, and internal teams to diagnose issues, coordinate solutions, and ensure timely, accurate resolution – driving customer confidence, equipment reliability, and service excellence.
Job Duties
Serve as the primary contact for equipment‑related inquiries, troubleshooting, and service support within our Pool Division
Diagnose equipment issues using technical documentation, system data, and customer input and assist customers and field technicians with setup, operation, maintenance, and repair guidance
Schedule or support service visits and follow up on open service cases to resolution
Process parts orders, warranty claims, returns (RMAs), and service documentation as required
Communicate clearly with customers regarding service status, timelines, and next steps, and collaborate with internal teams including production, engineering, shipping, quality, and sales to resolve issues
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within CRM and ERP system
Participate in ongoing technical and product training to stay current on equipment updates and procedures
Key Qualifications
A background in technical field work in the Pool industry or a similar field is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience working with CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce preferred)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Must be able to multi‑task, have great computer skills, and be able to work within several different software applications at once
Physical Requirements Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50 lbs.
Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available!) 1st shift: A range from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday (hours can vary during peak times)
Compensation The hourly pay for this role is: $23 to $26/hr. DOE. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Determination of pay rate may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
