SGT Proposal Coordinator, Property & Buildings (P4)
WSP is seeking a full‑time Proposal Coordinator to join the Strategic Growth Team (SGT) supporting the Property & Buildings business line. WSP’s Strategic Growth Team (SGT) is a national group of collaborative and innovative problem solvers who frequently work across regions and business lines to advance growth initiatives, secure wins, and leverage the expertise of the broader organization. The coordinator will facilitate and/or support teams in positioning for major pursuits, including capture planning, proposal development, and interview coaching and debriefs, with an eye for continuous improvement. The role will also act as a knowledge manager for the business line, maintain BL‑specific collateral, support marketing communications activity, and improve awareness of BL services to enhance cross‑selling opportunities.
Your Impact
Lead standard and complex proposals/qualifications including scheduling and conducting proposal kick‑off meetings, strategy sessions, and color reviews to develop a winning, compliant proposal.
Research, gather, edit, and produce proposal materials, including writing original content and reviewing/editing content for clarity, compliance, and key messages.
Collaborate with the graphic team to plan and produce proposal and sales materials ensuring all materials effectively communicate the strategic vision identified for a given pursuit or initiative.
Develop and maintain proposal, qualification, and sales files, including resumes, project descriptions and sales and business development databases.
Partner with client teams to develop account plans, prepare materials for internal and external meetings, and participate in client team meetings.
May support the communications team on regional activities such as newsletters, project awards, visibility and social media campaigns, conferences and other special communications‑related projects.
Ensure the various aspects of proposals and other sales and business development materials are compliant, accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
Lead the presentation phase of pursuits, including coaching interview teams, coordinating graphics, and refining key messaging.
Partner with individual pursuit teams to develop pursuit strategies, including client business intelligence, competitor analysis and WSP differentiation.
Organize and facilitate sales and business development strategy meetings.
Embrace technology and identify ways to increase effectiveness of sales and business development activities and client engagement.
May provide oversight of work of other team members.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism or a closely related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with editing, proofing and advanced sales and business development skills; preference for those with experience in the A/E/C industry.
Thorough understanding of the business line and approach to the marketplace.
Strong communications experience with the ability to articulate technical ideas with clarity.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and other communications‑related software programs.
Highly organized, detail oriented, and skilled with implementation and logistics.
Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
Knowledge of and demonstrated experience managing the pursuit development process from creation through submission; preference for those with experience managing standard and complex proposals.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings and coordinate large, diverse teams.
Strategic thinker who can look at the big picture and drive strategy to achieve tactical objectives.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision‑making and adherence to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

Compensation Expected Salary (all locations): $74,200.00 - $129,800.00
Expected Salary (Colorado only): $74,200.00 - $121,770.00
