Working Model

Field Based

As a Regional Business Manager, you will take full ownership of a defined territory, driving sales growth across a mix of established accounts and high‑potential new business opportunities. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will build strong, long‑term relationships with customers, positioning yourself as a trusted partner while delivering consistent commercial results.

You will represent a globally recognised manufacturer within a leading international group, known for its high‑quality electronic and electromechanical components, strong engineering support, and customer‑focused approach. The business has built a reputation as a trusted partner to OEM and EMS customers across a wide range of industries.

With a broad and competitive product portfolio, you will play a key role in expanding market share, identifying new opportunities, and making a visible impact on regional performance. This role is suited to someone who thrives on winning new business, developing relationships, and being rewarded for their success.

Key Responsibilities

Drive sales and profitability across the territory by expanding project activity with both existing customers and new contact points. Build strong customer engagement through a mix of face‑to‑face meetings and remote interaction across the region.

Manage opportunities end‑to‑end, from initial design‑in through to production and full lifecycle support. Regularly review the territory to identify growth areas and uncover new commercial opportunities.

Deliver a high standard of account management, ensuring customer needs are met while strengthening long‑term relationships. Develop targeted market strategies by identifying and converting high‑potential prospects, taking full ownership of the territory to grow both the customer base and overall revenue.

Requirements

Degree educated, ideally within electronics or an engineering‑related discipline. A minimum of 2–3 years’ sales experience gained within electronic components, engineering services, or OEM environments is required.

Experience operating in a design‑led sales environment, with the ability to engage effectively with engineering, procurement, and technical stakeholders. A solid understanding of project‑based sales and longer sales cycles (typically 6 months to 2 years).

Strong commercial awareness, confident negotiation skills, and a high‑energy, results‑driven mindset. Willingness to travel across the region, with occasional wider travel as needed. A full UK driving licence is essential.
