Our client, American Honda Motor Co., Inc., a global leader in the automotive and mobility industry, is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the Engineering Support function supporting engineering, testing, and software teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What’s the Job?
Create new technical documentation where none currently exists and standardize informal process notes into clear, structured materials
Maintain and update existing documentation as processes, systems, and workflows evolve
Capture tacit knowledge from engineers and subject matter experts and translate it into clear, usable instructions
Develop SOPs, process documentation, test manuals, and training or process “know‑how” materials
Support management presentations by summarizing documentation progress, status, and activities
What’s Needed?
Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of direct experience in technical writing or documentation
Proven experience creating SOPs, process documentation, test manuals, or training materials
Strong ability to extract, interpret, and synthesize technical information from engineers and SMEs
Experience working cross‑functionally with engineering, software, and testing teams
Strong SharePoint experience (required); Confluence and documentation automation tools are a plus
