Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Salary:

$55,000 + Bonuses

Framing Manager Responsibilities

Manage the installation of wood component systems, doors and windows, siding (wood and cement), shingles, insulation, drywall, and trim.

Recruit independent subcontractors holding the proper licenses and insurance.

Develop labor cost budgeting.

Develop job‑specific scopes of work including schedules.

Conduct daily jobsite inspections for quality and schedule to ensure compliance with blueprints and specifications.

Conduct daily safety inspections.

Ensure company compliance with contract documents.

Prepare daily reports, job diaries, narratives and other special documentation as determined by the company and project needs.

Framing Manager Qualifications

Proficiency with Word Processing, Excel, and Outlook software.

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in responding to and adjusting common inquiries or complaints from customers.

Strong reading and comprehension of documents (i.e. policy and procedure manuals); ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak/present in front of a small group.

Apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Framing Manager Role Description:

The Framing Manager is responsible for the supervision of, and coordination with, independent subcontract framing crews working on 84 Lumber projects. The position is responsible for training, supervising, and directing the work of framing installation crews, developing labor cost budgeting, maintaining production or installation records for use in supervision or control, planning framing installation work, apportioning the work among the framing crews, controlling the flow and distribution of materials or merchandise and supplies, monitoring or implementing contract compliance, providing for the safety and security of the framing crews and addressing and adjusting common inquiries and/or complaints from customers.
