Saviynt's AI-powered identity platform manages and governs human and non-human access to all of an organization’s applications, data, and business processes.
Position Summary We are seeking a Staff UX Designer to lead our design execution for the Saviynt SaaS platform experience during this transformative age of AI. The role involves creating design roadmaps that translate complex business and technical requirements into clear, actionable paths forward, ensuring a seamless AI-first user experience.
Responsibilities
Champion an AI‑first design culture by identifying, implementing, and maintaining cutting‑edge generative tools.
Architect and evolve the Saviynt pattern library to empower non‑designers to generate high‑fidelity assets autonomously.
Act as a hands‑on technical architect, using AI coding assistants and front‑end proficiency (HTML/CSS) to build functional prototypes that push the boundaries of AI‑driven UX.
Drive and own change across the organization, scoping all efforts and maintaining responsibility for the health and vision of broad business themes.
Anticipate shifts before they happen and create roadmaps to solve complex business problems.
Spot needs outside immediate work, prioritise for maximum impact and help others pivot when transitions occur.
Drive design patterns for the entire team, breaking large initiatives into parts for others and contributing to Saviynt's evolving pattern library.
Actively mentor junior designers and manage contractor teams, overseeing technical quality across various workstreams.
Maintain high‑level influence horizontally and vertically, aligning with Product Management, Engineering, and stakeholders to fulfil the product vision.
Produce user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final pixel‑perfect deliverables reflecting a holistic understanding of the SaaS platform.
Conduct quality assurance post‑UI development for visual and interactive perfection, providing detailed feedback to developers for revisions.
Qualifications
AI‑First Culture Experience: Proven experience in an AI‑first design environment, leveraging LLMs and generative AI to solve complex architectural problems.
Technical Implementation & Tooling: Ability to set up, maintain, and train teams on AI design tools that enable brand‑consistent design production.
Design Democratization: Building scalable systems and workflows that empower the broader organization while maintaining high UX standards.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years in a web‑based, product‑centric company with a background in SaaS products.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interaction Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, or related field.
Leadership Milestones: Proven track record of driving large‑scale initiatives from concept to delivery, delegating work, and managing contractor teams.
Strategic Ownership: Prior experience acting as an outcome owner, prioritising impact across broad business themes and guiding teams through transitions.
Complex Problem Solving: Ability to understand complex data structures and propose design options across diverse hierarchies.
Collaborative Style: Low‑ego, highly collaborative approach, self‑motivated, organized, open to rigorous feedback and peer critique.
Technical Design Proficiency:
Mastery of creating wireframes and interactive prototypes.
Proficiency in non‑linear thinking to capture complex interactions, edge‑cases, and varied user states.
Experience with HTML/CSS for front‑end prototyping to ensure technical feasibility.
Domain Expertise: Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) or Cybersecurity is a significant advantage.
Research & Iteration: Experience with user research and data collection to guide design, with emphasis on user testing and rapid iteration in an agile environment.
Portfolio: Customer‑centric portfolio demonstrating problem‑solving, user focus, and execution excellence.
Compensation & Benefits Salary range:
$150,000 – $180,000 per year.
