Position Details
Title: Intern, B2B Social Media
Department: B2B Marketing
Location: On‑site, Raleigh, NC
Job Type/Duration: Full‑time Summer internship (approx. 12 weeks)
Compensation: Paid internship based on experience

The Role The B2B Social Media Intern will support the development and execution of social media strategies to build brand awareness, drive engagement, and support lead generation for Circle K’s B2B offerings. The role partners closely with Marketing, Sales, Creative, and Communications teams to ensure consistent, compelling messaging across channels.
What You’ll Do
Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling B2B social media content across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant channels.
Support the execution of social media campaigns aligned with B2B marketing initiatives, product launches, and sales priorities.
Draft engaging copy and collaborate with designers to develop visuals that align with Circle K brand guidelines.
Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and surface opportunities to join relevant B2B conversations.
Track and report on social media performance using analytics tools, highlighting insights and opportunities for optimization.
Conduct competitive and industry research to stay informed on B2B social media trends and best practices.
Support cross‑functional projects and ad hoc initiatives as needed.
What You’ll Need
Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone for a professional B2B audience.
Familiarity with major social media platforms.
Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics.
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Creative mindset with an interest in storytelling and visual content.
Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate ideas clearly.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field.
Previous internship, coursework, or project experience in social media or digital marketing is preferred but not required.
