CEQA Specialist - Fully Remote

RCH Group (RCH) is a small California-based consulting firm that focuses on CEQA environmental consulting. Our consultants manage and prepare CEQA documents and provide technical services related to air quality, greenhouse gas emissions, hazardous materials, land use, and noise. Market segments include renewable energy, solid waste, composting, recycling, and mining.
Position RCH is currently seeking a mid- to senior-level environmental professional with considerable California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) experience. This position is fully remote but the candidate must live in California.
The ideal candidate will fit into our professional work environment, and communicate effectively with co-workers, and clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive CEQA experience and possess great technical writing skills.
Responsibilities Preparation of CEQA/NEPA documentation for a variety of industries and agencies. Review of California and federal regulations and application of those regulations to specific projects. Technical report preparation. Performance of multiple tasks within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities BS or MS in environmental science, environmental planning, meteorology, or related degree. Five to ten years of experience in environmental consulting. Strong/extensive experience with CEQA documentation. Self-motivated, and ability to complete tasks without persistent oversight. Exceptional communication skills, particularly with technical writing. Collaborate with co-workers, and clients to develop strategic and effective solutions.
