Automotive Accessory Designer Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled

Automotive Accessory Designer

to develop innovative interior and exterior vehicle accessories that enhance functionality, performance, comfort, and visual appeal. The ideal candidate combines strong design aesthetics with engineering awareness and a deep understanding of automotive materials and manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities

Research automotive trends, consumer preferences, and emerging technologies Develop design concepts, 3D models, and technical drawings for vehicle accessories Create accessory presentations aligned with brand strategy Design and strategize interior and exterior accessories (trim elements, storage systems, lighting accents, seat features, spoilers, roof racks, grilles, wheel enhancements) Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and production teams to ensure feasibility and compliance Select appropriate materials considering durability, safety, and cost Prepare detailed technical specifications and CAD files for manufacturing Oversee prototype development and testing processes Ensure compliance with safety regulations and automotive standards Work within budget and production timelines Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Design, Industrial Design, or related field Strong sketching and conceptual visualization skills Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Alias, Rhino) Knowledge of automotive materials, manufacturing processes, and safety standards Understanding of ergonomics and user-centered design Strong problem-solving and technical communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams Preferred Qualities

Strong understanding of automotive brand identity and styling language Innovation-driven mindset Attention to detail Ability to balance aesthetics with engineering constraints Passion for automotive design and technology
