Overview
We’re looking for a Staff Frontend Engineer with a strong design focus to join our product engineering team. You’ll tackle our most challenging design problems, expand and enhance our in‑house design system, and consult on bespoke work.
Responsibilities
Redesign our mobile web app by gathering customer feedback, wireframing new flows, implementing the design system, and turning designs into code.
Build flexible, composable components in our design system that enable other engineers to create custom UI elements such as autocompletes with filters, record creation, and more.
Improve existing designs by refining information hierarchy and scannability, allowing recruiters to quickly parse candidate assessments.
Participate in research, prototyping, and collaborative design sessions to drive product improvements.
Own end‑to‑end projects, from speaking with users to writing product specs and UX design.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of full‑time frontend engineering experience or an evenly split background between frontend and design.
Significant experience leading or contributing to design systems.
Expertise in React, CSS, HTML, and TypeScript.
Strong understanding of accessible, composable component architecture.
Experience working in a fast‑paced startup environment is a plus.
