Job Title
Small GC focusing on commercial, residential, and industrial projects Responsibilities
Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, contracts, and scope documents Perform quantity takeoffs for all divisions of commercial construction Develop detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor pricing, contingencies, and overhead Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and vendor bids Evaluate project risks, constructability issues, and value engineering alternatives Prepare bid proposals, cost breakdowns, and supporting documentation Maintain historical cost data and unit pricing databases Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations as needed Collaborate with project management teams during turnover and preconstruction Support budget development, cost forecasting, and change order pricing Ensure estimates align with company standards and market conditions Essential Skills
2+ years of estimating commercial projects Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field is a plus Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Sage Estimating, ProEst, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar) Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and construction takeoff tools Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings Job Type & Location

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $130000.00/yr. Full medical, dental, and vision insurance. Workplace Type
