Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated

Territory Manager (Outside Sales)

to drive growth and develop customer relationships in an assigned region of the upper Midwest. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven sales professional with technical aptitude and a strong background in industrial equipment sales or process automation.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow business in the assigned territory

Identify and pursue new customer opportunities across municipal, OEM, and industrial markets

Build and maintain strong relationships with engineers, contractors, maintenance teams, and purchasing agents

Promote and support the portfolio of valves, instrumentation and various solutions for applications

Provide technical consultation and product recommendations to solve customer process challenges

Conduct site visits, product demos, and training sessions for customers

Collaborate with our inside sales team to prepare and deliver quotes

Maintain accurate records of activity and prepare sales forecasts

Attend trade shows, training events, and vendor meetings as needed

Qualifications

Ability to navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, from plant maintenance to executives

Bachelor’s degree & 3+ years of outside sales experience in industrial automation, process control, or a related technical field

Proven ability to develop territory plans and exceed sales targets

Familiarity with flow, level, pressure and temperature applications is highly preferred.A “problem-solver” mindset will be a necessity

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
