Compensation Range: $190 -$210K

Description The Software Engineer 2 will design, develop, and maintain modern front‑end user interfaces for mission applications, creating responsive, intuitive UI/UX components that visualize data, support interactive workflows, and integrate cleanly with backend services. Responsibilities include implementing new front‑end features, optimizing UI performance, resolving user‑facing defects, conducting component‑level testing, contributing to Agile design discussions, and ensuring UI solutions meet mission security, accessibility, and usability standards. The engineer will collaborate with backend developers and mission users to translate requirements into scalable UI components, apply approved design methodologies, integrate COTS/GOTS solutions when appropriate, and support documentation and test procedure development.
Requirements
Eight (8) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
