Video Editor
Mon-Friday , estimated 40 hrs a week, On site in Long Beach
$45-50/hr (w2,eligible for overtime and benefits!)

About The Role We’re looking for a highly creative, well-rounded Video Editor to craft compelling, story-driven content across multiple formats, from short-form social (30 seconds to 3 minutes) to longer-form pieces for presentations and events.
This role is ideal for an editor with strong documentary instincts who can shape narrative from raw footage, building emotional, engaging stories using interviews, talking heads, scripted content, and b-roll. You won’t just cut footage, you’ll help define the story.
What We’re Looking For
4–5+ years of professional video editing experience (in-house preferred)
Strong storytelling instincts with the ability to build narrative from scratch
Experience editing short-form content (30 sec–3 min) and longer-form pieces
Proficiency in NLE tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve)
Experience with color grading, sound design, and visual effects
Highly organized, able to manage and review large volumes of footage
Able to start within 2 weeks and work onsite in Long Beach, CA
What You’ll Do
Edit high-quality video content from rough cut through final delivery
Review raw footage and independently shape narrative arcs and story structure
Craft documentary-style content across social, brand, and presentation formats
Integrate interviews, talking heads, and b-roll into cohesive, engaging stories
Execute color grading, sound design, and light VFX
Collaborate with creative and production teams while owning the edit
Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines
