Key Responsibilities

Own the technology delivery roadmap for the Client Journey Optimization Program, aligning scope, milestones, and cadence to business outcomes.

Translate Client Onboarding objectives into a prioritised backlog of automation, orchestration, and workflow capabilities that reduce cycle time and improve straight‑through processing.

Partner with Engineering and Architecture teams to shape the target solution: integration and data requirements, non‑functional standards (security, resilience, performance, and controls), and orchestration/workflow & case management (including human‑in‑the‑loop steps).

Drive senior alignment and decision‑making across Markets, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Technology to manage scope, dependencies, trade‑offs, and governance, delivering KPI outcomes with proactive risk management.

Identify pragmatic analytics/ML opportunities (e.g., decision support, intelligent routing, and data/document extraction and validation) to reduce Client Onboarding cycle time and improve client and operational outcomes.

Essential Candidate Skills

Demonstrated extensive knowledge of how technology delivery integrates with the business division / Group to achieve overall business objectives.

Demonstrated ability to use structured analysis to identify Client Onboarding pain points and design pragmatic process automation and workflow solutions in a regulated environment.

Demonstrated ability to make and justify prioritisation decisions (scope, sequencing, and resourcing) while managing dependencies and balancing value, risk, and delivery constraints.

Demonstrated ability to align senior Business and Technology stakeholders on scope, delivery plans, and governance, and to drive measurable outcomes and adoption.

Desirable Skills (optional)

Experience with Client Onboarding processes and controls (e.g., KYC, documentation, approvals, and auditability).

Hands‑on experience delivering workflow orchestration and process automation solutions across multiple systems.

Experience defining integration and data requirements (e.g., APIs, events, and data quality) in partnership with Engineering and Architecture teams.

Strong ability to define KPIs (e.g., cycle time and straight‑through processing) and communicate progress and outcomes to senior stakeholders.

Purpose of the Role To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
