Ecommerce / Marketplace Intern
Air Lift, a third-generation family-owned company, was founded in 1949 in Lansing, Michigan. Air Lift supplies the automotive aftermarket with load assist products and performance suspensions for show and track. The Ecommerce / Marketplace Intern will support the execution and optimization of our online sales channels including D2C websites, Amazon, Walmart and eBay. This role provides hands-on experience managing ecommerce platforms and third-party marketplaces while working cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and customer support teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to learn how ecommerce businesses operate at scale. Key Responsibilities
Support day-to-day management of ecommerce platforms and marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, AirLiftComapny.com, AirLiftPerformance.com, Walmart, eBay) Assist with product listings, content updates, pricing changes, and promotional event prep Track and analyze marketplace performance metrics including sales, conversion rate, and product performance Help coordinate order processing, shipping, returns, and customer escalations for 3P channels Maintain accurate product data, SKUs, and catalog organization Monitor chargeback issues Identify opportunities to improve product pages and customer experience Assist with reporting and documentation of ecommerce operations Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution across channels Qualifications
Required Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's program in Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Preferred Familiarity with ecommerce platforms or online marketplaces Interest in ecommerce, digital marketing, or online retail Basic understanding of ecommerce metrics and KPIs Strong written and verbal communication skills What You'll Gain

Success in this role will be evaluated based on: Contribution to D2C/marketplace performance through improved listing optimizations, product content, and execution Accuracy and timeliness of product listings, updates, and promotional prep execution Ability to follow processes and maintain organized product and marketplace data Effective monitoring and escalation of chargeback issues Quality and reliability of reporting, documentation, and communication with internal teams Demonstrated effective collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
