Position Summary Our Luxury Residential & Commercial Construction Manager is responsible for managing all on-site construction activities for high-end residential renovation projects. This role ensures work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on field leader with strong experience coordinating trades, interpreting construction documents, and delivering detail‑oriented interior projects.
Key Responsibilities
Site Management
Oversee all phases of construction from start through completion
Coordinate subcontractors, trades, materials, and equipment
Maintain project schedule and ensure timely completion of work
Quality Control
Ensure all work conforms to drawings, specifications, and design intent
Monitor workmanship for quality, accuracy, and finish
Identify and address deficiencies promptly
Coordination & Communication
Work closely with Project Managers, architects, and designers
Manage RFIs, submittals, and field coordination issues
Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings
Safety & Compliance
Enforce site safety in accordance with NYC regulations and SST requirements
Identify and correct unsafe conditions
Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental standards
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain daily logs, reports, and site documentation
Prepare lookahead schedules and progress updates
Track and maintain drawings, submittals, and project records on site
Field Oversight
Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress and plan upcoming work
Ensure subcontractors are executing their scope of work per contract
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
Open and secure the job site daily
Qualifications
5–10+ years of Superintendent experience in residential and/or interior construction.
Experience with high-end residential renovations preferred.
Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Proven experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors.
NYC SST 62-Hour Supervisor Card (required).
Proficiency in Procore or similar construction management software.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
