Lead Product Designer — Payments / Bitcoin L2

develops payments infrastructure enabling instant, low-cost global transactions using Bitcoin and stablecoins. Its products support enterprise use cases including wallets, deposits, and cross-border payments, with infrastructure designed for scalability and real-time settlement. This role is focused on Spark, a Bitcoin Layer 2 system designed for instant and interoperable payments. The Lead Product Designer works closely with engineering and product teams to design developer-facing tools, dashboards, and wallet experiences. The position owns end-to-end design execution, from interactive prototypes to production-ready interfaces, contributing to how complex payment infrastructure is translated into usable systems. Responsibilities Own design of developer-facing tools, dashboards, and wallet experiences for the Spark product Simplify complex concepts such as Layer 2 infrastructure, stablecoin settlement, and interoperability into intuitive interfaces Build functional, high-fidelity prototypes and interactive demos for partners and internal use Design marketing and launch assets to communicate product capabilities across technical and enterprise audiences Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver production-ready solutions Contribute to broader product and brand design initiatives within a small, cross-functional team Utilize AI-assisted tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Figma) to accelerate design and prototyping workflows Requirements 5+ years of experience designing and shipping digital products Strong visual and interaction design skills demonstrated through a portfolio Experience using AI-assisted design and development tools such as Cursor, Claude, or similar Experience designing for technical audiences including developers or infrastructure products Ability to work independently and translate ambiguous problems into actionable design outputs Preferred Experience in crypto, fintech, payments, or developer tools Familiarity with Bitcoin, Lightning Network, stablecoins, or Layer 2 systems Comfort working with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Portfolio showcasing prototypes, demos, or interactive experiences Experience working in small teams with cross-functional responsibilities Attention to motion, interaction, and detail in product design Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $200K – $235K (USD) Equity participation Bonus eligibility Health insurance (medical, dental, vision) Company-paid life insurance 401(k) with matching Flexible work schedule 20 days paid vacation + holidays Family leave policies FSA/DCA accounts If you're planning to build a web3 engineering team or expand into payments infrastructure and Bitcoin L2 systems, ArtOfBlockchain surfaces high-signal roles across protocol, product, and design. #J-18808-Ljbffr
