
Digital Marketing Specialist (PPC-Focused Growth Role)

Overview Sixth City Marketing is seeking a highly motivated Digital Marketing Specialist with foundational experience in Paid Search (PPC) and a strong interest in growing into a full-time PPC Strategist role.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has hands-on exposure to Google Ads and wants to deepen their expertise, while also contributing to broader digital marketing efforts such as content creation, SEO support, and social media.
This is a full-time, hybrid work position. You’ll work closely with our PPC and SEO teams to execute strategies that drive traffic, leads, and revenue for our clients, while building a clear path toward a dedicated PPC role as our client base grows.
Key Responsibilities PPC & Paid Media Support (Primary Growth Focus)
Assist in the execution and optimization of paid search campaigns (primarily Google Ads)
Conduct keyword research, write ad copy, and support campaign builds
Monitor campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities
Analyze data and provide insights to improve performance against client goals
Support strategists in reporting, pacing, and ongoing campaign management
Digital Marketing & Content Support (Current Core Workload)
Write and edit content for websites, blogs, and social media
Conduct industry and competitor research to inform strategy
Support SEO initiatives including on-page optimization and link building
Update website content via CMS platforms such as WordPress (training provided)
Assist with social media content creation and scheduling
Work collaboratively with PPC strategists, SEO specialists, and account managers
Help execute marketing strategies aligned with client goals
Stay up to date on trends in PPC, SEO, and digital marketing
What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is early in their career but not starting from scratch in PPC - someone who has had exposure and wants to specialize.
Required Skills & Experience 1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, internships included
Hands-on exposure to Google Ads (campaign builds, keyword research, or optimization)
Strong writing skills (blog, web, or ad copy)
Excellent attention to detail and organization
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Strong analytical mindset and interest in performance data
Nice to Have Experience in an agency environment
Familiarity with SEO tools and concepts
Exposure to other paid platforms (Microsoft Ads, Meta, LinkedIn)
Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms
