Position Summary
The Associate Director, Hematology Regional Marketing (RMK) is a senior in‑market position within the U.S. Hematology/Cell Therapy commercial organization. The role focuses on commercial Thought Leader (TL) engagements, provides insight into regional opportunities, bridges regional markets and headquarters, supports the brand strategy, builds promotional speaker training and development, executes peer‑to‑peer educational programs, and supports regional congress activity.

Regional Marketer (RMK) liaises with field‑based professionals (Field Medical, Sales, US Value, Access & Payment) and home‑office colleagues in Marketing, Sales, Value, Access & Payment, and Medical, all under approved SOPs.

Territory: Chicago, IL; Indianapolis, IN; Detroit, MI; Saint Louis, MO.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide customer insights and input on strategy, tactics, messaging and program execution.

Support the execution of approved Advisory Boards:

Identify Healthcare Professional (HCP) consultants based on the approved Consultant Engagement Project Brief.

Facilitate, participate in and attend advisory boards, where appropriate.

Engage in disease state and on‑label discussions, using approved promotional messaging and PReP‑approved materials.

Solicit feedback from assigned TLs as needed.

Participate in and attend congresses and other industry meetings; conduct one‑on‑one meetings with HCPs and attend sessions at congresses.

Provide input and support for account plans for Sales Speaker Management and Engagement.

Identify and develop HCP Speakers to deliver high‑quality, compliant promotional education.

Provide refresher and follow‑up training to Speakers on PReP‑approved Speaker materials.

Host and ensure compliant execution of branded and unbranded Speaker programs per BMS guiding principles.

Monitor Speaker performance at live programs to evaluate effectiveness and capabilities.

Assist in development of Home Office Brand Strategy and its execution in the region.

Maintain professionalism and comply with BMS policies, applicable laws, regulations, industry codes and the company’s Principles of Integrity.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5 years in product marketing, field sales, or field medical.

Minimum 5 years in Hematology or specialty therapeutics.

Bachelor’s Degree required or higher.

Marketing, Sales Management, and/or launch experience strongly preferred.

Experience with thought leader engagement, ad boards and speaker’s bureau strongly preferred.

Proven ability to manage large geographical territory.

Demonstrated ability to build productive stakeholder relationships and meet their needs.

Ability to inform strategies, develop tactics and execute strategic plans under short timelines.

Strong business acumen; understanding of market dynamics, business drivers, corporate goals, and strategic impact.

Clinical knowledge and aptitude in complex disease states; desire to continuously learn and improve.

Effective verbal and written communication skills and organization abilities.

Self‑driven with strong organizing and planning skills; able to determine effective approaches and act accordingly.

Ability to leverage interpersonal styles to gain acceptance of ideas or plans.

Highly collaborative; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Willingness to try innovative, compliant ways to address work problems and opportunities.

Regular business travel by air or car required.

Willingness to work evenings and selective weekends required.

Compensation Overview
Field – United States – US $164,990 – $199,933.

The starting compensation range is listed above for a full‑time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate reflects required skills, job location, work schedule, and experience. Final individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.

Paid Time Off:

Exempt Employees: unlimited paid time off with manager approval, 11 paid national holidays (excluding Phoenix, AZ; Puerto Rico; or Rayzebio employees).

Non‑Exempt, Hourly Employees in Phoenix, AZ; Puerto Rico; and Rayzebio: 160 hours annual paid vacation with manager approval, 11 national holidays, and 3 optional holidays.

Additional time off may include unlimited paid sick time, up to 2 paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, and military needs, and an annual global shutdown between Christmas and New Years Day.
