OakRidge Montessori in Alpharetta seeks an experienced Montessori leader to guide the continued development of a comprehensive Montessori program serving children from infancy through Lower Elementary.
This role presents an opportunity to shape a thoughtfully prepared, authentic Montessori environment while supporting teachers, enhancing classroom practices, and establishing a cohesive Montessori pathway across all levels.

About Our School
OakRidge Montessori serves children from 6 weeks through elementary in a carefully prepared and spacious environment designed to support movement, independence, and focused work.
Our programs include:
- Pre-Montessori: 6 weeks–18 months
- Toddler: 18 months–3 years
- Primary: 2.5–6 years
- Lower Elementary: 6–9 years
The institution is currently in an exciting phase of growth as it continues to expand the Lower Elementary program and strengthen alignment across all classrooms.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide Montessori instructional leadership across all program levels
- Support and mentor teachers through observation, coaching, and professional development
- Ensure consistency and authenticity of Montessori practice across classrooms
- Guide the continued development of Lower Elementary
- Partner with school leadership to cultivate a strong, respectful school culture
- Support parent communication and community engagement
Qualifications
- Montessori certification: AMI, AMS, or equivalent preferred
- Bachelor’s degree: Required; advanced degree in Education or related field preferred
- Experience: Montessori leadership or readiness to assume a leadership role
- Understanding: Strong comprehension of Montessori philosophy and classroom practice
- Experience across multiple age levels: Toddler, Primary, and/or Elementary preferred
- Communication skills: Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Leadership approach: A calm, reflective, and collaborative approach to leadership
