Position Overview
As a Senior Managing Director, you will run the Los Angeles office, mentor a team, and lead the firm’s commercial real‑estate financing portfolio across multiple asset classes. You will originate, structure, and execute debt and equity financing transactions, build revenue, and represent Concord Summit Capital as a trusted intermediary.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate, structure, and close debt and equity transactions across multifamily, office, hospitality, retail, industrial, and mixed‑use properties.
- Develop and manage client relationships with sponsors, developers, and capital sources to understand capital needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Build and maintain a robust network of capital sources including banks, private equity funds, private lenders, hedge funds, family offices, and institutional investors.
- Lead the full transaction lifecycle from origination to closing, including negotiation, structuring, and documentation oversight.
- Lead client pitches, financial analysis, due diligence coordination, and closing processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, analysts, and third‑party advisors to ensure seamless execution.
- Build and manage a distribution network of intermediaries to expand access to domestic and international capital sources.
- Oversee underwriting, financial modeling, due diligence, and preparation of investment memoranda and offering materials.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client engagements to enhance visibility and brand equity.
- Monitor market trends, capital conditions, and emerging opportunities to inform strategy and origination.
- Mentor junior professionals and foster professional development within the team.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in commercial real‑estate capital markets, structured finance, or investment banking with a track record of originating and closing debt and equity transactions.
- Established book of business with transferable client relationships and an active network of sponsors, developers, and capital sources.
- Deep connectivity with banks, private lenders, equity funds, family offices, and high‑net‑worth individuals.
- Independent sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and closing of transactions across diverse CRE asset classes and capital structures.
- Experience with international capital raising and building global investor networks is highly desirable.
- Expertise in capital markets strategy, transaction structuring, and client advisory.
- Exceptional leadership in deal execution, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Strong understanding of capital structures, financing instruments, and market dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, underwriting, and market analysis.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- State Real Estate Sales Associate or Broker’s license (preferred).
