Responsibilities Campaign Management: Proven experience driving and monitoring discrete marketing campaigns from start to finish.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to lead meetings with 20–30 people and feel comfortable pushing back or escalating risks to senior leadership.
Detail Oriented: Strong organizational skills to manage central drives, trackers, and asset status.
Preferred Backgrounds (The "Ideal" Candidate) Creative Agency Experience Or Tech: This is the top preference. Candidates who have been Project/Program Managers at agencies understand the fast-paced nature and coordination required between clients and creative teams.
Producer Background: Often successful due to their deep understanding of creative timelines and how sub-deliverables connect.
Consumer Goods/Tech: Experience in consumer goods (CPG) or tech go-to-market campaigns is highly relevant.
Experience Level: Generally 6–10 years, though the ability to lead senior stakeholders is more important than a specific number.
Agency Management: The PGM will work closely with a "companion" project manager at an external agency. They are not SMEs in the creative work itself but manage the process.
Budget: The PGM tracks the budget availability/status but does not "own" or manage the actual spend.
