We're a technology studio in NYC building web and mobile products for clients who refuse to ship anything boring — and incubating our own products through our labs program. Small team, high standards.
We're hiring a designer who's spent years perfecting their craft and has now picked up AI tools to move at a completely different speed. You design in Figma. You prototype in code using Claude Code. You validate before you hand off. You don't wait for permission to build.
The Work You own design from blank canvas to shipped product — across client projects and our own internal products built through Religion Studio labs. User flows, systems, interaction design, motion, high-fidelity production — all of it. You'll work directly with engineering and product, no layers in between.
You You have 5+ years designing digital products and a portfolio that makes us stop scrolling. Shipped work, beautiful details, systems-level thinking across web and mobile.
You live in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite. Motion and 3D are equally important to you, it's fundamental to how you think about product experience.
You're already using AI tools every day. Make, Claude Code, Higgsfield/Midjourney, Stitch — whatever your stack is, you're building with it, not just experimenting. You take your Figma designs and prototype them into working code using AI-assisted tools. That's not a bonus — that's the job.
You can present to clients, debate with engineers, and defend your decisions without being precious about it.
Even Better You've designed AI-native products. You have branding and visual identity chops. You know enough front-end to be dangerous. You have a side project that shows how you think when nobody's directing you.
