Hospice Marketing Liaison

Position Great new career opportunity in Hospice! Now Hiring – Hospice Marketing Liaison (Montgomery County Area). Hours Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM. Responsibilities Facilitate patient admissions to Hospice via marketing and education activities with contracted and potential contracted hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, respite centers, physicians, and other community resources. Generate business by creating and maintaining relationships with physicians and other medical professionals, community and senior organizations, hospitals, special interest groups, discharge planners, nursing home professionals, assisted living facilities, and other potential referral sources. Prepare and conduct calls and in‑service presentations to potential referral sources. Participate in community and organizational programs, making presentations and joining as a member where appropriate, to promote a broader understanding of the Hospice philosophy and Ascend's services. Promote an atmosphere that supports the privacy, dignity, and well‑being of all patients. Promote positive public relations with patients, family members, and healthcare providers. Serve as an internal and external resource supporting the mission and vision of the organization, particularly as it applies to palliative and end‑of‑life care. Education and Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Experience in marketing, preferably hospice or other healthcare environment (e.g., home health, long‑term care, pharmaceuticals). Willingness to travel. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self‑starter with ability to create own leads. Organized approach to territory management and ability to work with limited supervision. Ability to work as part of an inter‑disciplinary team. Ability to support and promote the Hospice philosophy to referral sources in the medical industry.
