Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree. Training requirements

-Deep knowledge of SFMC modules (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder)
-Strong hands-on with AMPscript, SQL, SSJS
-Experience designing omnichannel journeys
Apigee & API Skills
-Hands-on experience with Apigee:
-API proxy creation and lifecycle management
-Policy enforcement (security, transformation, mediation)
-Developer portals and API product management
-Strong understanding of:
-RESTful APIs, SOAP
-OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect
-API versioning and governance
Knowledge and skills
Experience working in an email platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred. Knowledge of email testing and optimization approaches. Capability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to effectively manage expectations, build trust, and achieve high client satisfaction. Proficiency in delivering results within tight deadlines in a dynamic business environment. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on achieving business outcomes. Ability to self manage time and meet expected deadlines, completing work on time within hours allocated. Knowledge and experience with project management tools, Jira preferred. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Technical Skills
Solid understanding of HTML and CSS coding specific to email. Experience with email marketing platforms- Responsys, Silverpop, Message Gears, Send Grid. Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience preferred. Experience working with mobile first and responsive design email templates and strategies. Expertise in troubleshooting code to ensure designs render appropriately across all versions Experience with marketing tagging and tracking platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics is preferred. Experience with 3rd party email tools such as Litmus, Sparkpost, MovableInk, and a working knowledge of how to best use these tools. Advanced proficiency in AmpScript or similar personalization language. Understanding of SQL is a plus but not required. Deep understanding of compliance principles- CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other email laws and best practices. Responsibilities:
How you'll shine:
-Architect end-to-end SFMC solutions including data model design, business unit structure, and integration strategy with CRM, CDP, and data warehouse systems.
-Lead the design and governance of Data Extensions, Shared Data Extensions, data views, and related SQL Query Activities to support complex segmentation and personalization.
-Build and maintain advanced AMPscript, SSJS, and dynamic content frameworks for highly personalized, data-driven email and messaging programs.
-Design and optimize Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Triggered Send configurations for enterprise-scale, multi-touch lifecycle programs.
-Establish platform standards, naming conventions, and governance frameworks to ensure maintainability and compliance across teams.
-Lead or actively contribute to migration initiatives including template migration and workflow mapping.
-Implement and oversee HubSpot workflows, custom module development with HubL, smart content, and CRM-integrated segmentation.
-Define QA and deliverability standards using tools like Litmus, Validity, and Sender Score monitoring; resolve rendering, deliverability, and personalization issues at scale.
-Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and platform runbooks to support team enablement and institutional knowledge.
-Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and engineering stakeholders to ensure platform capabilities align with campaign strategy and business goals.
-Mentor junior and mid-level email developers; conduct code reviews and establish development best practices.

Responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing end-to-end email marketing campaigns. (45%) Collaborate with greater digital marketing team and stakeholders to align on an email calendar and maintain the projects within it. (15%) Proactively test and learn. Analyze past email campaigns for insights and learnings, compare with industry best practices, then share recommendations with greater team and stakeholders. (15%) Work with technical email team to continue to innovate and iterate on the technical capabilities in email, creating more streamlined processes and better results. (15%) Create presentations showcasing the wins and learnings in email, and share with leadership and or stakeholders. (10%)
